3. Fit the lid — Stretch the SlugVault lid securely around the rim — don’t overstretch it.
4. Place in the garden — Bury it partially so the opening is slightly above the level of the soil.
5. Check regularly —  empty, rinse, and refresh the bait as needed.

Pro tip: Try two different baits, whatever catches the least over a week or longer, change to a different bait, this will help you optimise the best bait for the slugs in your garden.
