Our story
Our journey began in Laurence’s garden in Leeds, UK. After repeated slug attacks left his garden devastated, Laurence discovered a surprising gap: there were no barriers that were highly effective for pots and planters. This sparked an idea—to create a slug barrier that would make gardeners’ lives easier.
From those early days in a Leeds garage and garden—collecting slugs and testing barriers—We’ve developed effective new products, refined existing designs, and conducted in-depth research into what truly works as slug and snail barriers. Most importantly, we’ve shared this knowledge freely through our blog, social media, and downloadable guides.
Our mission began with a goal: to create an effective barrier against slugs and snails for gardeners. We’ve since gone beyond this and don’t plan on stopping. we want more solutions that are more effective than traditional copper barriers and safer for the environment than harmful slug pellets, which indiscriminately kill slugs and disrupt the food chain. Our collaborative efforts have led to innovative products that protect your garden while safeguarding the surrounding ecosystem.
